
In November 2008 The J. Edgar Hoover Center for Law Enforcement ended its relationship with the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite Freemasons in Washington, DC. The J. Edgar Hoover Collection and the Morris Childs Papers are currently located at Ely Corporation, one of the premier fine arts storage facilities in the Washington, DC area.
Inquiries concerning research of the collections should be directed to the J. Edgar Hoover Center for Law Enforcement at 301-262-7770.
On September 2, 2005, the Chairman and Board of Directors of the J. Edgar Hoover Foundation unanimously approved a $5,000.00 contribution to the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI Foundation. The funds will designated for immediate relief assistance to Society members, their families, and current FBI employees effected by the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina which struck the Gulf Coast of the United States earlier this week.
